Grace in Small Things – 34/365
- I had a rough couple of weeks, but am doing better now (sorry for disappearing like that, Karen)
- Today started out gloomy, but turned into a beautiful sunny Indian Summer day
- I got off my butt and got some Halloween decorating done – pumpkins and ghosts garland over the garage, “landing strip” outline for the driveway
- Mel came over to play with the kids, so I was able to clean the upstairs bathrooms (can my life be any more exciting? :P)
- We took the kids for a walk and then watched the latest episodes of “Castle” and “StarGate: Universe” on Hulu
[In the next couple days, I am going to try and fill-in the missing days 17-33]

1. Having Dennis to show movies to my classes when I find out on Friday that I’m supposed to teach on Saturday
2. Listening to students’ reactions as they really enjoy the movie
3. Being half-way through the semester
4. The weather is turning colder, so the flies are FINALLY starting to die off
5. I found my thimble, so I don’t have to destroy my fingers trying to do the ribbon embroidery a friend gave me.
