Weasel Of Doom

1. Super Pumpkin mastery is mine! (big sigh of relief from my captive audience, I am sure)
2. Sleeping in.
3. Good talk with my parents on Skype. They like seeing the kids.
4. Mel came over and did his thing.
5. At 3:30 am, photos for Damien’s “Star of the Week” thing for 4K will be ready for pickup at Walgreens. He gets to decorate a board, and Sergey gets to be jealous. Oh joy. Xavier will be at daycare, or I am sure he’d feel left out, too.

1. Aside from taking Xavier swimming, I did absolutely nothing today. Bliss.
2. Then I felt vaguely guilty, so picked up kids’ stuff downstairs and cleaned the kitchen. No more sticking to the floor!
3. Mother-in-law came over, so Bill did not have to deal with the kids all by himself.
4. After YET ANOTHER snafu with super pumpkins, Zynga extended the deadline to Sunday evening. Two more harvests, and Super Pumpkin mastery shall be mine!
5. Nice and quite after the kids fall asleep.

1. Wow, I have been doing Grace in Small Things for two months. Scary.
2. Friday = Babysitters = Chance to stay late at work and catch up on stuf.
3. Cranberry cake from a very nice lady at work. Made sitting at my desk until 8 pm a lot more bearable :-)
4. Uploaded January 2010 photos to my photo gallery site. Last album there is from October 2008. That’s beyond embarrassing.
5. Zynga gave us an extra day of super pumpkins in FarmVille, which means I have a chance to get Super Pumpkin Mastery. Also means I need to get a life.

1. Looks like my (worse than usual) depression these last couple days was hormonal in nature, and not a sign that I am finally ready for a nice vacation in a room with padded walls.
2. A friend to talk to and to vent. Thanks for listening, Shannon!
3. Damien fell asleep on my lap.
4. Akismet catches all the weird Russian spam I get.
5. Girl Scout cookies have been ordered. Yum.

1. As soon as the kids go down, Bill and I will watch the new episodes of “Chuck,” “Castle,” and “White Collar” that are waiting for us on Hulu.com. Did I mention I love Hulu?
2. Bill gave the kids a bath and is now putting them to bed. I am so spoiled.
3. Won a bid on “Absolute Sandman” volumes 1-3 on Ebay. Of course, now have an extra volume 3. Thinking of holding on to it until it goes out of print (like vol. 2 did, which prompted the foray into eBay), and then selling it. Or offering it to friends for $50.
4. Our laundry is done, and so are the towels. Yay for clean clothes and clean linens.
5. Last night, I did the bills. Still have a huge diaper box of paperwork to file, but that’s out of sight and out of mind :-)
6. The amazing ability of two children to sleep through blood-curdling shrieks of the third child (doesn’t matter which one is screaming, 99% of the time the other two don’t even stir).
7. Downstairs is staying clean!
8. Nice warm hat on a bitterly cold morning.
9. Beef chili.
10. Kids sleeping in their own beds, instead of kicking us out of ours :-)

1. Kids laundry is done and put away.
2. Downstairs is clean – toys in their bins, books on their shelves, vacuumed floors.
3. Christmas tree is gone. I am sad… If it was up to me, it would have stayed a lot longer, but (and that’s where the good thing comes in) I am sure family and friends will be glad at the absence of needles. Plus, kids have more room to play.
4. Damien turned 5 on Sunday.
5. Despite not sleeping last night, I managed to stay more or less awake today.
6. Kitchen floor is washed, and downstairs bathroom is clean. Pain in the ass to do, but nice once it’s done :-)
7. Dishwasher is busily washing the last batch of dishes :-)
8. Bill made oatmeal raisin cookies. Yum.
9. Pizza for dinner, two days in a row.
10. Mel came over yesterday, and will come again tomorrow. I can stay at work late and try to catch up. (Try being the operative word. Odds of me actually managing to catch up are slim to none, alas.)

1. Friday was bad. Today is (marginally) better.
2. You can watch Neil Gaiman reading “The Graveyard Book” at the MouseCircus website. I greatly enjoyed it.
3. Sleeping in.
4. Artichoke mastery ;-)
5. MIL came over with cake for Damien. His birthday is tomorrow.
6. Watching figure skating on NBC. Women’s free skate is tonight!
7. RaisinBran Extra. Still loving the yogurty clusters ;-)

1. Nice lunch with Erin and Fynn – he is such an adorable little guy :-)
2. Had Eric and Shannon and the kids at our house for the first time in a couple months. The kids did not kill each other.

4. Caught up on my Hulu queue last night.
5. “Burn Notice” will be in my queue tomorrow!
6. Weekend is coming. Here’s hoping for a chance to sleep in!

1. Grace in Small Things does not REQUIRE me to post every day, so when I fall behind (or have grace-less days), there is an opportunity to catch up.
2. Website redesign launch at work went well; people seem to like it. Still lots of work to do on my end.
3. I made it to work at 6 am (Monday) and 7 am (Tuesday).
4. I am actually being productive while at work – things are getting done! Now if I only wasn’t years behind…
5. It’s been unseasonably warm this week.
6. Mel keeps coming over and playing with the kids, even when the kids are being brats.
7. Hot chai.
8. The house is a mess, but I am not getting all stressed out because of it.
9. Going to bed early.
10. I kicked Eric’s butt in Scrabble – pretty sure that’s not likely to happen again, so savoring my victory while I can :-)
11. Reading Heather and Jessica’s commentary on Golden Globe outfits at Go Fug Yourself – they are hilarious!
12. “Hide” button on Facebook.
13. Still not smoking.
14. Tor.com and “Wheel of Time” and “Lord of the Rings.” rereads, and oh so many other interesting posts, especially Jo Walton’s book reviews.
15. There are new episodes of “Chuck,” “Castle,” and “White Collar” in my Hulu cue, waiting to be watched.

1. 12 hours of sleep (even though we missed swimming and gymnastics because of it)
2. Though the kids pulled some ornaments off the tree, nobody got hurt.
3. Good time at Alex’s and Beth’s joint birthday party.
4. Missed watching figure skating today (because I am an idiot, and added an hour instead of subtracting an hour when converting from Eastern Time to Central Time), but at least I figured out what I did wrong, and will turn the TV on on time tomorrow.
5. My friend Rebekah had a baby girl.

1. I managed to stay more or less coherent all day.
2. Raspberry Level 3 mastery in FarmVille is mine! And so is the blue ribbon for having 50 farmer friends, thanks to my cousin unexpectedly accepting the neighbor invitation I sent back in June.
3. Friday night game at our house = babysitters for the kids, so I can hide out upstairs.
4. Damien and Sergey were both very happy to see me when I got home. I got hugs and everything!
5. I have a roof over my head, a nice job, a good husband, and healthy kids. Things can be so much worse.

1. Replaced the tail light in the Jetta. This time, was smart and did NOT take the whole trunk apart. Access panels are my friends.
2. Lunch at Moe’s with Shannon. So good to get away for a while.
3. Kids got their N1H1 booster shots.
4. Bill let me stay late at work to try and catch up on stuff. I am behind on everything, and trying very hard not to freak out.
5. Downstairs bathroom, kitchen, library, tv room, and great room are all clean in preparation for Bill’s gaming group later tonight. We shall attempt to ignore that it took me until 5 am to accomplish that.

1. Today sucked, but it is over. Tomorrow is a new day.
2. Found the cause of MAJOR problem with the website redesign, and fixed. *big sigh of relief*
3. Xavier’s cold is better.
4. Make ‘n Mold Candy Wafers.
5. Sleep.

Has it really been three days??? I am losing days now, that’s probably not a good sign :-(

1. Mother-in-law came over on Sunday and played with the kids. It’s always amusing to see her high expectations clash with reality :-)
2. Season 3 of “Chuck” started! We watched Episodes 1 and 2 last night.
3. Another new episode of “Chuck” and a new episode of “Castle” are waiting in my Hulu.com cue.
4. “Burn Notice” and “White Collar” new episodes next week! Yay!
5. Finished reading “Heat Wave,” “The Duke and I,” “When He Was Wicked,” and “Shards of Honor” (thank you, insomnia).
6. Found out that the library has all the Lois McMaster Bujold books that I am missing – foresee major glom coming on!
7. Personas for Firefox – it’s fun to dress up your browser :P
8. Damien wanted me to give him a hug and a kiss at bedtime tonight.
9. Sick days.
10. Sergey likes to combine all the songs he knows into one giant song and then sing it (off-key, poor kid inherited my musical (dis)ability) when I put him to bed.
11. Xavier’s cold is better, he might be able to go back to daycare tomorrow.
12. Laughing at the Twitter war between Jeff Eastin (“White Collar”) and Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”).
13. Sergey: “Damien, let’s fight! I will be Ratchet, and you will be the monster!” Considering that Ratchet attacks monsters with a giant wrench, I am surprised this game rarely ends in tears.
14. Mel came over today. Kids were glad to see him.
15. Advice I gave a friend to make her baby take a nap actually worked. Makes me feel like I am not totally a waste of life.

1. It was so nice to see Karen again!
2. Xavier saves his screaming until after swimming (I think he just wants to snuggle, and instead I put him on the floor and tell him to wait for me to get dressed).
3. Mel came over and did his duty.
4. Laundry is done and put away, ditto dishes.
5. My LibraryThing sidebar now shows the books I am currently ready. LibraryThing is awesome.
