1. Good walk with Olya last night, even though it was foggy.

2. We made it home safe last night, in spite of aforementioned fog, which was the thickest I have ever seen!

3. It's Friday (yes, now I'm stealing from both of you!)

4. After a rough start, Beth slept through the night last night. And I did not wake up before the alarm, like I usually do.

5. We get to play Sheepshead tonight, for the first time in over a year

1. It's Friday (OK, I'm a day ahead here...) and we survived our first week back at school, and all my students still have semi-normal English names, and all managed to ask me a question. And we don't have to teach on Saturdays (yet).

2. Pecan pie (Lynn's been busy :-)

3. Even though I slept through my alarm this morning, I woke up with (barely) enough time to get ready for school.

4. I did sleep through my alarm this morning, instead of waking up at intervals from about 4 am onwards.

5. I can use Ben's wireless on my laptop, so I don't need to fight with our apartment computer, which is slower than biking a pedal cart against the wind, even though we paid for faster service this year.
