We had a great time at Sheepshead Friday night. 2. Kids were really good on Saturday. 3. On Saturday, Beth took a two hour nap in the morning and a two and a half-hour nap in the afternoon. Alex took the same two and a half-hour nap in the afternoon. Absolute Bliss. 4. Actually managed to go to bed early on Saturday. 5. Got my shopping list done before dinner-time. 1. We had a great time at Sheepshead Friday night.

Although the new movie theatre in town isn't showing Sherlock Holmes in English, Ben has found a Chinese website where we can watch just about anything. 2. Even though the waitress didn't understand me, I was right about the word for cumin. (Ah, the tidbits of language we pick up!) 3. The magpies have a new nest outside my window. 4. We had a good visit with Adam from Wuhan. 5. I have reached a partial decision about next year: I don't want to teach anymore. (Remains to be seen whether I'll stay here and study, or go back to the US...) Happy birthday, Bill!
