Grace in Small Things – 112/365 & 113/365
- Friends who listen to me vent and give me a shoulder to cry on
- Nice walk to the bank
- Finally depositing all the unemployment checks that were piling up
- Damien did great in his swimming class
- Falling asleep early (even if it resulted in a missing post yesterday)
- Good talk with my boss
- Elizabeth Moon’s “Oath of Fealty” waiting for me to read it
- Melon mastery
- Free coffee (even though it tastes like it costs)
- Almond Joy Pieces. Mmmmm!

3. Got into both fitness classes that I wanted
4. In the middle of J.D. Robb’s “Fantasy in Death”, which I’ve been waiting to get from the library for over a month.
5. Internet connections that don’t just “go away”. (Not that I have one right now!)
6. Scheduled Jenna’s visits through the end of August, which makes summertime planning much easier
7. Eric OK’d buying yet more pacifiers for Beth, since we’ve now lost all 4 and are using backup ones that she really doesn’t like as much.
8. Jenna will be here to help Eric while Olya and I T-Tapp for 7 hours on Saturday.
9. Eric will be able to kill 3 hours in the car with the kids picking up Jenna on Saturday (I forgot it was a Sat pickup until yesterday)
10. Beth did not fall down the stairs this morning on her way up them without supervision (because I forgot to close the gate!)
Hey, sleep is way more important than blog posts!
1. The wind today was a clean wind (meaning not full of grit and sand).
2. We could see the mountains, and the tops of them had snow!
3. My classes did a good job describing to me how to play various sports.
4. I found a new clock for the living room that we can actually see from across the room.
5. Plumbing people that show up with appropriate equipment for clearing out toilet blockages.
6. A functioning toilet (which has only been off and on around here lately…)
7. I’m almost done the final newsletter about our trip, so then I can start writing about more current events.
8. Pocky snack sticks.
9. A good talk with the other three about our various future plans.
10. Peanut butter M&M’s.
